My name is Shawn McDonald, and I am the married father of  2  girls. I moved here from Edmonton 8 years ago and have never looked back. Having lived on a boat my first year here, I learned what the West Coast has to offer, and love it more everyday.

Once you have submitted your application to my office for pre-approval and have received a phone call from my office confirmng you are pre-approved...then it is time to choose a realtor and go shopping!

All realtors will appreciate you being pre-approved. Based on your pre-approval, let the realtor know your price range and they will organize the different listings for you.

I choose to work with a select group of realtors in Nanaimo, and Vancouver Island, who have your best interests in mind. The realtor selection process is an important one. You will be spending a lot of time with this person travelling from home to home so it is important that there is a good fit. It is recommended that you interview a few to ensure you feel comfortable.
